Looks like I'm going to miss this Rally. Just the wrong weekend for me.
So close (you'll be less than 100 miles from my home) yet so far.
Last holiday weekend of summer, roads will be full of people. Everyone be careful and don't get impatient with all the extra traffic.

sounds great guys. In a couple weeks I'll P.M. everyone again to try to get a count of how many of us will make it.
Please include me in the PM notification. I don't know if I'll do the overnight, but I definitely want to come up and ride with everyone.

      Thanks!

I'll be there at some point. Is there some sort of itinerary? I'll be riding up on my "new" '85 XJ700, possibly with one or two other XJ guys. Probably just a day trip.

The Schedule is on the thread in the XS11/xj11 discussion page. We've kinda gotten split up here on the site. Along with me will be my brother and father on different days, and a buddy with a xs650 I'm pretty sure. Just to reitereate, We're meeting on Friday night at the Carrows next to Motel 6 in south Lake at 7. It's well into the California side, a few miles from the Casinos.

My wife and I probably won't get there by 7 on Friday, with dispersing our kids and waiting for school to be out. When is breakfast on Saturday morning? I use the term "morning" very loosely, by the way. Getting an early start is not as important to me as waking up when I wake up and not before...

We'll ride out of the same Carrows at 9:30, LoHo. Sat. will be a lighter day so we can drag our feet a little. I'm sure others will be ready to go early, but whatever. Sunday is gonna be the long day, so we'll have to start maybe as early as 8 to get back around dark. Monday is fairly leasurely also. If no one cares, we'll be munching at Carrows for breakfast all three days since it's so easy. But I think we might end up at IHOP on Monday morning, just a hunch.

                      Sorry

I'm sorely disappointed, but I won't make it. The bike is down. Engine runs, but I'm still trying to get the turn signals and brake lights to work.

Maybe we can put something together for later in the year.

Sooo...Tbear and REFFI are down and I won't be on a bike (runs, but not the way it should). Spending the weekend in Tahoe with my wife sounds like fun anyway, and meeting some of you guys would be a big plus. Anyone else bailing out?

I've got an extra bike you can ride tomorrow Loho. I guess Monday too if you'll be around. My brother will be riding it Sunday. It's in great shape, so no worries about getting stranded. Let me know.

Borrow a bike? Heck no! Those things are dangerous. A fellow can fall off when he's only going thirty miles an hour. Just think how bad it would be at speed!

                              HA friggin HA!!! Larry!

This is what happens when you fall off your bike at 30 mph! If it had been "at speed" I wouldn't be standing there.
