  • Tahoe 07 Anyone?

    Ed...Ray...anyone?

I planning on heading that direction late August or first part of September. I think at least one other (Miles Baker) is going with me. We'd like to meet some of the brethren there. Then we'll be riding up the PCH from south of the Bay Area to Oregon a couple days later.

I thought it was an annual event! I've already got it on the "must do" list.
      See you both September!

Great! We are planning on arriving in Tahoe Friday afternoon. We'll ride all day Saturday with the gang. We'll ride half day Sunday then head west to the Coastal highway. We are riding it up to central Oregon.

It looks like this will be 2 weeks after the PNW 07 rally in Olympia, WA Aug 13-19 and this Tahoe Rally is Sept 1-2?
I wonder if me doing both will lead to a divorce?

Count me in... My father(Paul) should be around too. Don't think my brother(Tim) is gonna make it. I think he's supposed to be moving that weekend.

Matt - What are you doing here? I thought you defected to the darkside (BMW).

Seriously though...I hope you brng the Kruz missile ... I mean it is an XS rally after all.

Of course. Just got it back on the road after months of playing with the jetting in vain. I do believe I've cooked one of my accel coils... should have that replaced in plenty of time.

This is starting to get closer. Do we want to stay at the Motel 6 once again, or try for a different place? Send a response, or PM me, and I can look for a good "rally" location, or just book a few rooms together. I will stay out of the "burned" area, as I don't think there is much to see around there.
Keep posting here, and we can put this together!

                      6 is good for me.

Just remember we have to cut out Sunday and head for the coast. I need to be in Newport, OR Tuesday night 9/04/07.

But Miles and I should be rolling into South Lake Friday afternoon late.

                        Hi Cody & other XSives,
I am interested in this ride. I will be off work then. Perhaps Bohn will ride from Kansas city area with me.

                        Happy motoring,

So, let me get a head count, and I'll see if I can get a "block" of rooms. I'll try for ground floor, close together, maybe on the far side of the hotel, so we can BS late into the night without keeping any kids awake.
