Not to distract from the "goings on" in Tahoe, but any chance of some OR/WA folks meeting up with you guys while you are in OR?
This past spring, I discovered some great roads in between Reedsport, OR and Eugene, along the Smith River that would make for a great day trip. I don't want to impose but I reckon I could get a couple of XS's together for a day trip to the coast. My cell number is 503-929-1134 - stay in touch and have a great ride! I would be there if I hadn't just taken last week off for the PNW XS11 GTG in Olympia, WA

We'll be at the Inn at Otter Rock south of Depot Bay, OR. We'll be there evening 4th, 5th and 6th, of September. My cell phone is 4057806186 if you want to call us. We are going to be riding lightly around Newport up north maybe as far as Astoria. We don't plan on riding a lot during those days as we'll be resting up for the 2000 mile trek back to Oklahoma/Missouri. Most of our "rally riding" will be around Tahoe with the "Rally Cats".
However we will be riding around the Newport to Tillamook area doing some sight seeing. If you'd like to join us you're welcome.
OK, We have the people, just need to find a few rooms.
dragxs, If you or your dad know of a motel we may be able to get a room with two beds, let me know!
Everyone else, I'll see you all there!

WOW WOW WOW!!! This has been a trip of a life time so far. We left Tahoe and rode across the Bay (Golden Gate)...then all the way up the Pacific Coast 600+ miles to Newport, OR. That's where we are tonight.
One of the most mind bending roads I've ever ridden was north of Fort Bragg. It was every bit as twistie as any Dragon's tail with one major improvement. The temperature was a cool 60 degrees! Redwoods big enough to drive TWO Elevens through...and we did! I'll be posting photos and a full report soon...stay tuned.
Zilla locked horns with a "jackazz" on a massive custom Harley. I am not sure what the guy did to the motor but it was NOT your run of the mill 88 inch motor. No matter...the big lizard made mince meat of the clown on the massive twin once I got it in the right gear. We had just departed the Golden Gate Bridge when the "street fight" occurred as it continued through the north tunnel. Suffice it to say the "bro" on the 75,000 dollar twin was not happy with the results. Full report later ...stay tuned if you're interested. Stay away if you're not!
So... 2 1/2- 3weeks.... how long we gotta stay tuned!?!? PICS MAN, PICS!!!

There's some pics in the Ride Reports section, topic is "A funny thing happened on the way to the bridge..." However, I'm still waiting for DiverRay's pics, as he got that nice one of me right behind him on 395.
Never claimed to be a smart one... that's why I had TC but the *Dumba@@* in front of my guru status when I got there. HE'S the one that took it off, not me! I guess he decided people were gonna figure that out all by theirselves!
Next time don't leave a guy hangin' in a thread... post where you put 'em!
