Weather is fantastic and several of our Vintage Yamaha Rally attendees are already on-site!!
The views from the top of the BRP are fantastic....
If you're not already on your way....BRING A SWEATSHIRT! The mornings are a little CHILLY at/about 60 degrees.
Didn't bring the liner for my riding jacket and wish I had!!!Kurt Boehringer

Yippie, just in time. I finally got the Pacifico E back together. Sporting a new Geezer 14.2v Regulator / Rectifier with new wires for Stator 3 white wires in its own new harness. Made up some new ground wires too. Plus ultrasonic carb clean and carb adjustments including sync. Survived a 25 mile Atlanta rush hour Test Ride last night (stop & go then 80 mph) and another 6 mile test tonight. Runs good and it charges. Installed a 12v DCV gauge too. Handy to see exactly what is going on. The Shorai lithium battery is much happier now. Darn that thing is so lite compared to AGM and lead acid Batts.
Pacifico 11E had sadly been sitting awhile waiting for the maintenance. Last real ride on it was April 2017. Then only local after that because of dead battery problems. Carbs needed major cleaning outside after the Colorado trip and a float height adjustment.
Needs another test run so will tackle that with a 140 mile ride tomorrow up to the Rally. See ya there. And riding on my Vintage Yamaha too.
I talked with Brent tonight. He will be riding his XS11 to the rally this year. He will ride to Stecoah on Fri AM and is very much looking forward to seeing everyone just as I am.

Sunday Report:
Groups out Riding and having some FUN ………………………….
Feedback from both days is that most everybody is getting some very good smiles per mile.
Good Rally and a good sized group of new attendees too. Safe travels on the way home or to your next destination.
More later,
