            Beautiful North Carolina!!!

XS Friends Headed for or contemplating a trip to the Vintage Yamaha Rally,

I went up to Franklin last weekend. Sorry rode the new steed

            The area is absolutely beautiful!
All the reservoirs and rivers (which were quite low last year) are totally full.
The scenery is fantastic this time of year but we're looking forward to the cool nights of early fall for the Vintage Yamaha Rally!
We ran the dragon up/down and visited several of the beautiful waterfalls down on RT28.
Probably going to make ANOTHER trip up before the rally to finalize some plans....
We're looking forward to seeing all our XS11 friends!

Yes, I will be driving an XS11: to, during, and from the rally.
But we will trailer a spare XS11 nd the FJR.....Just in case

            Sincerely,
            Kurt & Nancy

Absolutely! I'd REALLY enjoy the company on the ride back!!!
              • I NORMALLY don't like to bring Nancy through ATL on the XS11. I feel it is just too dangerous with ATL nuts 2-up.
              • My son has other plans this fall and can't be my side-kick up/down from Stecoah.
              • Nancy will be "Chase Vehicle" with all the spare parts and a couple spare bikes in the trailer.
              • Having a couple bikes riding together will be safer for both of us!!!

Great! My big brother flies Kool-aid-dropping tankers to fight fires--if he's home it's a deal! If not I will likely tag along with anyone heading towards Ohio to visit my son. Either way I'd love to have a better mechanic than I am alongside.

Next week I start my checklist of maintenance and shakedown runs, including going out in a hard rain for the first time...
