The rally will be over to morrow when I leave for Road Atlanta
as we believe 3 makes a rally. The gas situation has cramped our style little but we have still had agood time.

Hello to all. Although I've been gone these last couple of years I have definately not forgotten what good people and rides this rally brings. I look forward to pictures and stories in the ride reports. I'm grateful I can still look at the videos TopCat made and remember how fun it is. It's hard to believe how far removed I've gotten from riding since the birth of my daughter, but I look forward to her getting old enough for me to hit the road again.

Hi Robert,
here are some pictures. I was thinking & speaking of you just lately. Are you still grinning ear to ear from riding, even in the rain or cold? Can you post some pics of you & your bike? I won best Japanese bike (RAT bike class - most ridden/least washed) at the last rally.
Some of the vote winners were surprises, even a honda took home honors. How about some of you winners bragg a little, some lurkers want to hear about it & how you did it. I can not remember which Awards I awarded.

I dropped Bruce off a few hours ago, and finally made it home myself. A full two weeks, barely any rain, rode every major player in the twisty road dept except 16 in VA.
Big smiles . More in a few days, pictures and stuff.

My apologies for not getting on here sooner. Had a great time - thanks to you Gary for everything including keeping me communicating with the little woman - oh and adjusting my watchband. Bruce - thank you for enduring my p-poor curve riding and showing me the finer points of my new steed. Marty/Robin, thanks for the googles, I'd have been flat out of luck without them (yes I'll be prepared for night riding next year), Phil, Brent, people I'm forgetting names for (I've got vivid images of you but I'm terrible with names - my sincere apologies) it was great riding with you all. The weekend was just super! I'm terrible at riding on these types of roads but it was a lot of fun and by the end I did get better. I told Gary at Deal's gap that the roads the day before prepped me quite nicely for the gap, ha!
Since returning home I've been scolded for taking exit ramps too fast on the Venture by SWMBO, ha! It's addictive. Bob Haller, great to hear from you. Hi Marty - my best to Sally.
I've finally gotten the Bandit cleaned up. The rear wheel was a study in caked-on chain grease but otherwise, the bike was fun to ride and very responsive. Now to find a new seat!
