  • By next year... Ronda will be one of the ones shooting by the leader because we're going too slow! Glad you guys could make it. Make sure to rub it in to Mark really bad how beautiful the area is and how twisty the roads are.

    Hope to see you soon.

    • I’m sorry I I didn’t get to post sooner but I want to tell every one that I met at Talihina that it was a great ride and was neat to be able to put faces with names. And I also had a really had a good time. And I'm really looking forward to the next one!

I’d have posted sooner, but when I got home Sunday afternoon I found out my satellite modem was out. It took until Monday afternoon to get Hughes net (internet provider) to agree to ship me a replacement. And Tuesday we went to St Louis to visit my brother and just got home a couple of hours ago, and just now got the replacement modem hooked up. I’ve been suffering internet withdrawal bad since I usually spent 4 to 6 hours a day on the web and my brother doesn’t even own a computer!!!!!

I noticed Monday when wiping down the bike, oil on the floor at the rear of the bike and discovered that both of my shocks were leaking. Now I’ve got to decide if I want to go with Progressive Suspension’s air shocks or try their coil spring ones

              • Wish Y'all well

Greg thanks for pics. Very nice. I need to learn how to attach them like that.

A friend sent me an Irish blessing to bring good luck, which I read after viewing pics. I believe that I AM a lucky man.

                My reply;
                Thanks for Irish Blessing.
Here is one of my own, a wish for y'all.

May your purse not hold another coin or two (because it is full).

May the sun shining on your windows be blocked by a nice cool shade tree.

May you always be amazed by the beauty, rareness and promise of each rainbow you see.

May the rain fall gently on all your plantings, and a light drizzle preceed & accompany your desert crossings.

May you feel the nearness of God, even when you are alone or among strangers.

May the wind be in your face (because you are riding).

May the road never rise up to meet you with a slap.

May angels keep you safe on your rides.

May a new Metzler ME880 marathon tire bring you relief & great joy,,,,Like me. (Just not wishing you such dire need of relief)

                Happy motoring,
                Brent

If you want to ride and it is too cold there, come to Florida in January.

See XS southeast rallies, Key west 2008.

                  Y'all are invited
