Since most people seem to be going to the Kiamichi Inn motel anyway, we could all meet up there in their parking lot. It's within sight distance of the diner we'll meet at in the morning.... maybe 1/8th of a mile away on the same side of the road... but you kind of have to watch for it or you'll drive by it. They will let us put somebody's bike out front by the sidewalk for advertisement I'm sure. They are VERY accomodating. They even parked their cars in the rain last time so we could all pile our bikes under the covered area by the front door last year. We can sit and shoot the bull for a bit, look at bikes, and decide on where to eat dinner (Supper for you Texicans!)

I can only think of 3 restaurants there in town (Give or take), so those arriving late shouldn't have too much trouble finding a bunch of old Yamahas.

If that sounds ok to everybody. Otherwise... put in your 2 cents worth!

You guys can feel free to put my number in your phones and call when you get there if you want. 580-421-5782

Does anybody know where the banner is? We need to get it sent to trbig, or somebody near Talimena-Talihena who can get it displayed at a resturant or at the hotel.

Anybody that wants to... either Friday evening, or Sunday morning before heading out.. I have been told that the road between Talihina and Noshobia, OK is probably the best road to ride in Oklahoma as far as twisties... just one person I know's opinion, but I value it from him. It's probably just about 100 miles for this route since I can't get Yahoo maps to follow the Talimena Trail back into Talihina... but I'll ride Friday, or stay and ride with anyone that wants to Sunday. I'm kinda easy like that.... lol

            Opinion?

Tod....I think you meant Honobia (pronounced Hoe-nubbee) we rode that route last year...remember? Dave Rockey lead the pack.

And yes it is a good road....twisty and scenic!

Here's the route we took from Talihina to Honobia.

              It's 76 miles round trip.

Here's the shot of all of us at the 4 corners store wherewe all said our good-byes.

I did mean Honobia... sorry. BUT... I had to leave out early due to a spun crank bearing last year.... remember?? (Do you see ME in that pic??)

Instead of turning west at 4 corners, I'd like to come in on the Talimena Trail again.... but it would be up to others.

Actually YOU ARE in one of the 4 corners shots. I can't believe you don't remember doing that damned "self levitating" trick you always do at the rallies trying to hog the camera!?

Spun crank bearing? Tod the only way to spin a crank bearing on an Eleven is abusing the poor old thing...something I know NOTHIN' about...

Did you know an XS11 has a governor?

YEP...I'm bringing mine with me... ...by governor I mean the harder I twist the throttle the harder she pinches me!

                                And...as usual...we'll be sharing a room...
