    tire work

You know I happen to have a home built balancer.... ok so it's just three pieces of lumber with screw holes for front and rear positioning and some notches cut out but hey it worked!

Nothing like the feel of new rubber!

tires guys, geeez I meant tires!

        Whew!

I am really glad that you clarified that one, Mark...

Hey Andrew... somewhere around here is a post with some of the items on the "to do" list... John and webbcraft were discussing it... You'll just have to read around a bit... and I think the big bore idea has been nixed.
We're leaving things open... trying not to get too hung up on a set schedule. We have enough of that on a regular basis... who wants it while on vacation? (rhetorical question)
We have plenty to keep us busy if we choose... and if we don't choose... that's okay too...

          carb job

Hey by the way...... this is a two parter.

          1) Larry from Wister OK. is planning on bringing down the bike I "made" him buy.... we need to do carbs on it seriously. Is there anything partswise he might need to bring or do ya'll have that pretty well covered? Or is that .... where can he get some? Last time I went thru my carbs I needed no parts whatsoever. Just patience and care.

          2) How are we doing on the number of people and parking issues? I will be 2 bikes, two bodies! Counting my son smart aleck!!!

But as soon as I get a definite yes from Larry we will have to make that three bikes, three bodies, one truck.

Still waiting on word from two local guys here in Jax on if they will be there.

So....... I may bring the number in my party up to five bikes, five bodies, one truck, so let me know???

            Answer... in two parts

1.) Tools we have... parts... maybe... but assume we don't (yes... I know what they say about assuming... and sometimes they're right)

2.) Parking... we have a four car driveway... anything with four wheels (or more) will be relegated to the street, more than likely... soooo.... what? Parking for 20 bikes (including the walkway to the front door... which can hold two or three bikes depending on how friendly they are) If everyone who is coming has let us know... then we should be okay... with a little room to spare... We have a front yard that the grass refuses to grow in so we can put some there if the need arises...

Ummmmm... Mark? Five bodies and six vehicles? Are you towing the truck behind the bikes?

(Me? a smart aleck? naaaaaaaaaw... and I'm never sarcastic either)

                  Mall is close

but me thinks it's not a good idea... Too many bad things happen... and I don't think they like squatters much over there... unless they are squatting at the mall and spending money...

Ordered my sons from denis kirk
Dang... we had ours the old fashioned way...
(Speaking of... our son is SO excited that a boy his age is coming to this!)

                    Mark

About the only thing you may need is some bowl gaskets for the carbs. I don't really have any carb parts kicking around. You would know better than I would on what he may need. Can you get some thin gasket paper, just in case? We could always make some.

I thought bowl gaskets are usually reusable? At least mine have been.

                                BBQ

Wk is planning on doing a brisket, some dogs, brats, and anything else we find in the big freezer. This will be a good excuse to clean it out. There will be all kinds o' mucnhies, and I plane on stocking the small fridge with some beer. Mostly Shiner, but y'all can pick up any flavor you like. There are beer store all around here. There are some liquor stores a few miles away also.
