Are you and Phillip riding to the Smoky Mountains and back to Texas in early March? Some portions of the Blue ridge parkway close in winter. Last year a few portions remained closed due to wash out damage into June.

I plan to ride South to Daytona Beach, FL during Early March. Ground hog, General Beauregard Lee, predicted an Early Spring in Stone Mountain Ga. There seems to be some confusion re; sanity or freezing to death of Punxutony Phil. Dress warm.

ITs about 3 miles from John's house. AS for my spring break, Hopefully I will have finished restoring the new bike. That way my Dad and I will both have a fairng. If not, it will be fine. I am doing all of the research I can right now to find out the best roads to take and places to go. I know it will still be cold, but that will make the place more quiet. I think the state park should be open by then. We haven't planned out the whole thing yet. All I know right now is that I will be back for this event.

Crud! My dad lost his vacation bid for that week. You know how it goes. The SMKY MNTS trip is caceled. He may not be able to stop by and meed everyone, although I will still be there. Maby I should try for the Iron Butt Award that week. That would be fun. Spend 24 hrs sitting on my XS and come home to work on them.

Looks good here! My son will be riding with me! Wife says it's a go. Bike needs more work but will have to be good enough. Would like some contact # just in case I get lost. Will be leaving here March 16th and should show up there on the night of the 17th.

got back last night at around 8 from your neighborhood again.......

a hard drive replacement in Terrell and one in Kemp

took 175 this time....... when we come up in a couple weeks we are taking 175 for sure....... much better ride and more stuff to see .......... /// I didnt much care for the "Dragon Mentioned" cables of death along the interstate median.

Sorry I may have been born just around the corner from your house, but I moved around so much growing up and in the military that I forgot every bit of Spanish I ever learned.

And..... I met this really cute girl at a restaurant / inconvenience store in a place called Larue, I stopped to stow my shades and get a bite to eat.

It made me feel like a dirty old man..... she was 25.....

After that of course was Frankston and then Cuney, where I practice at my Bass player's house. I told them they need to get ready quick so we can play some music for everyone somewhere around the texsive rally. Maybe they will be ready later in the year and wherever the second rally is we'll have to hook everyone up.

SWEEEEEETTTTT!!!! I had yet another change of plans. Aparently my dad found a midnight special out in Colorado. If the price is right and the condition is good, we will be trailering it back the weekend before. I am going to need to build a new garage now! AWESOME. I think we are actually going to try for each bike of every model.

When I was 25 you still wouldn't have been a dirty old man (well... maybe dirty... but not old)... and the closer I get to 40... the older "old" becomes... When I was 8... it was 20... when I was 20... it was 50... now in order to be considered old... you'd have to have a foot in the grave (and not because of your wild lifestyle)

I think it would be easier to maby just use a trailer? THat would be a lot of running. Hopefully all but the new bike will be running. Aparently it has a fuel leak and some other easy fixes. I really can't wait for this event. IT will be good to see some familiar faces and meet new people. Maby this weekend will finally force me to replace my rear tire. It is already bald and slippery. Whenever I really get on it, It slides out to the side. So, what are we planning to acutally do on this event? Who is bringing stuff to work on? We goin to be installin that big bore kit mentioned while back?
