Well definitely XSEast 2018. Have we ever established beyond a reasonable doubt when the First 1st Inaugural ( never before) XS East was?

My first was 1999 Toronto and I am fairly sure there had been one or more before that.

This will be our, my wife Linda and I, first rally.

We've been trying to make the last two and had to cancel at the last minute

Since there appears to be no progress on this may I recommend a change of venue? Being from New Jersey I am thinking it would be difficult to have a rally similar to the style with which we are accustomed.

And sorry for posting so late, I have been tied up for most of the winter with issues.

I spoke with Janet at the Newton NJ Econo Lodge this morning. Here’s the deal.

I’ve a block of rooms reserved under XSEast 2018 for May 25-27. Ask for Janet, she’s on duty 0600-1400 Wed-Sun. 973-383-3922. Block will be held until Apr 24. Can cancel up to May 24.
15% tax added for all below
5 King Single non-smoke $69 $ 79.35
6 Double smoking $79 $ 90.85
5 Double non-smoking $79 $ 90.85
3 Queen double ns $79 $ 90.85
2 Queen double suite $99 $113.95
No more than 4 to a room; $10 for each extra person.

I'm with Marty on this. He's done some planning for WV. No one has stepped up for NJ and its getting late.

I had this idea for a couple of years but kept putting it off. Maybe this year might be a good time.
Mike Cummings hosted the 2004 rally at North Bend State Park near Cairo, WV. The venue was great but we had an abbreviated rally and he missed a bunch of good twisty not crowded roads around there. So I am proposing we go there this year. I thought of calling it the "Mike Cummings Memorial ride" or something like that.
And Quinett's Court buffet is within riding distance !!

North Bend is a beautiful state park, one of my favorites. Sounds good to me.

P.S. West Va. is a little closer for us and better roads to get there than goin' East

No, im not doing any planning. May not even attend but, it would be nice for some of our northern neighbors to have it in new jersey north pa new york area. West virginia is a ride for some long time attendees. Vermont was .y favorite
