      Twin Falls State Park.
That's Beckley at the intersection of I-77 and I-64 to the north and east of Twin Falls.

        Sorry, forgot this

        Twin Falls State Park website

        Has maps and location info.

Right down the road from Pineville, home of the fabulous world-renown "Cow Shed Motel."

        Great neighborhood, great roads!!!

              XS East

Has anyone considered if this topic is in the right place? I found it totally by accident when I noticed one of Ben's replies. West Virginia is not in the North East or Canada! I would hate for anyone interested to miss it.

No matter where XS East happens, it is always found in this forum location. WV is probably repeated most often. It's always a well attended rally.

                  Hi 2manybikes,
It has been generally accepted that WV is part of the XS North East Region we have probably been there more than any other state.
As the other Virginia wraps around below at the area chosen it too could be part of the North East. We are getting dangerously close to TN which I would not consider to be North anything (YMMV)

Having said that, Just as the NY and PA rallies are too far north for some this location will be too far south for others but you can not please all the Xsives all the time.

some years we have had a lively debate going about 3 or more proposed locations but the last couple of years only ONE location has been proposed.
Volunteers don't always do exactly what you want

Hey Curtis...Like Phil said the NE has been expanded upon somewhat..one year we even had a rally in SE Ohio...but generally it has been in the NE...glad you found it though...many of the folks from the XSEast event also attend the XSSE rally too...
Not exactly sure what my plans are for 2017 as of yet...

                      XS East

Marty, Thanks for the geographic clarification! Since I am still a newbie, I may occasionally wander off the reservation...

Phil, I only mentioned it because it seemed the thread was in an odd place from a geographical standpoint, and didnt want anyone to miss it. I am now better acquainted with XS geography! As far as volunteers go, very little would happen anywhere, if select few, were not willing to devote some of their valuable time for the greater good of the huddled masses.

Ben, If it weren't for your reply, I would still be wandering around in the woods!

No rallies this year for me...Looks like we're getting ready to relocate to Southern Arizona...so we will be preoccupied with selling the house and moving...
