That is a route I can take. I am leaving the Atlanta area Friday (tomarrow!!) early. I would like to avoid the toll sections of I-77 and take back roads near Beckley, WV. Let me know where/when you can meet.

What!?! Again?? Scenic, backroad, shortcut that may be longer, ride rain or shine, lost??
If you still want to try it with me again, let me know. You bring the fuel tanker bike. I will get more clear siphon hose.

Brent you are cracking me up...

If you can get a pic of the tanker operation in action please post it...especially refueling underway!

      Have fun and stay safe.

      • Brent thats funny...I'm not sure ...I want to get there early and even though I-77 is toll thru WVA its still quicker than going back roads...but on the trip home Monday I will want to take the long way home...I originally had planned a 600+ mile ride to Cambridge using mostly backroads but decided that would be too much before the rally and possibly leave me too tired to ride the Sat ride.So the 466 mile route on I 77 will get me there by 1pm...I plan to leave here at 5 am tmrw a.m.
So I guess i will see you all there....y'all ride safe too

OK BNE. If you get away at 5 arriving by 1 pm, You will be several hours ahead of me, even if I pay the tolls and make good time. Maybe I will arrive before supper, surely by dark. You still will not arrive before Ted & Heather and Earl. Thanks for poolside weather report, Earl
