80SG Vetter bagger 1196 Wiseco big bore kit, Mega Cycle Cams, slotted cam gears, ported and flowed head, bronze intake seats, Dyno Jet kit, Dyno coils and Mikes XS air pods, Venture cam chain adjuster,Geezer's regulator, Clutch mod, Mac 4 into 1 with custom built and tuned baffle, Oil cooler,MikesXS emulators mod.
Dyno tuned to 98 hp at the rear wheel.
Left at 8:30, took the direct route to the border, hooked up with some 80 MPH Canadians (finally) and had a very enjoyable trip south UNTIL...
Along the QEW the sign said 30 minutes delay at Niagra Falls so we headed there, as the other crossings were packed. So did everyone else. Spent 3+ hours walking the bike .6 miles across. Tortured the clutch a lot. Sheesh! Hotter than the hinges of Hades. At one point my air temperature gauge read 107F. Ran out of water the 2nd hour. Sally frequented the shade and walked along for while. 10 hours for a 6 hour trip. Oy!
Had a great time as usual, rides were great and company greater. Canadians are terrific hosts! Kudos!
Photos in a while, still re-hydrating....

Hi Earl,
Must have been hiding in all the empties left on the counter
Send Tinman a PM with your address and a brief description of the keys and he can mail them to you.
Thanks for being there. Sorry to hear you had to break in to home.

Departure was delayed by going for breakfast Glad i did though. Hot enough for you I found the traffic on southbound Hwy 400 to very heavy and eventually arrived at work at 11:00am. they were pleased to see me
Had dinner wth my son at his grandma's house after work and when i tried to get home the cops had the road closed for a " man with a gun" police investigation.
Thank you to those who came to XSNorth 2010. For those unable to make it this time there is always next year.

Hi Marty,
We did not anticipate that one did we! Sorry to hear of the torture you had to endure to return to the USA.

I know we missed some on the road photos so apologies ahead of time, not easy with a bunch of miscreants who think I am trying to race them instead of taking their photo....

Dan and the cleanest nicest XS11 probably EVER. We've had some nice ones at different rallies but this one is the high bar. Likely the factory never saw one that nice whence in production.
Ted for battling the traffic on his 5+ hour race to get a Harley part and get it back before dark.
Bud for helping Brent in the hot sun installing the new part before dark.
Gary for making two trips to just "be there" and having a limo to chauffeur us to supper when we needed it most.
Tom for the great routes and only one U-turn.
Phil for picking a nice neighborhood.
Anyone and everyone who brought the beverages that kept Sally happy (and let me partake, too!)
