  • Quote: "Wayner, at least you and me will have XS's"

I'll have one too, maybe.... I finally got all my parts and just have to put it together. Need a part from Bruce's donar bike and my lovely wife is working on covering the hard sagglebags with faux leather. I'll have to get the tank painted at a later date, its PURPLE!! Ugh....

And I have to test ride for a few days. I've never ridden it! I bought it in winter and I only heard it run. Bruce said it was a real good engine. but I never ridden it. I anxious, excited and worried.

Ride report hopefully by the end of the week. Oh, I also have to get it Safety Inspected and it has got to pass before its legal.

    • Does anyone know what the projected weather is going to be like?

Right now forecast for thursday HERE looks like a little rain but then dry for the rest of the weekend. Cooler than normal overall.

I always pack for rain/cold and hope it's warm and dry!

        • Weather?

We don't need no stinkin' weather report! I was born wet, weren't you, eh?

It is what it is, but we've never had a rainy memorial weekend in the 15 yrs I've lived here. Oh, ****, now I've gone and jinxed it.

          • Not Coming...

Delivered the Witch today. Ed-the wonder mechanic-says minimum 3 weeks, probably looking at 5 or 6. So I won't make it this time. There's always next one, right?

              Hi Marty,
Instaed of going west I'm going east. I'm going to Gary and Dena's for a sleep over on Thursday night. I'm crossing either the Ivy Lea bridge or the 2 ferries in Kingston, Ontario and landing in Cape Vincent in NY.

Your right Randy, but we won't be the only ones.
Last post I sent I said "So far so good for the Phoenix. " I started it tuesday morning and blew a gas line....I know, I know. That is minor, but you have to laugh. I'll be there though, Phoenix and all.

That's the first of 2. It's a little longer trip but it is nice that way. That Ivy Lea bridge is high and if it's windy it adds for a little white knuckle riding. Hey!!! Now I know why they have a bathroom on the other side

                      Hi Mark,
Sounds like you are going to be one heck of a busy Bluenoser. Looks like you might as well camp out in Bruce's "Vinyl Chalet" until it's done.
Are you riding down with Dave? What about Bruce? Is he coming?
