I was debating about staying at a joint called hickory shades that is about 12 miles from the Bean. Its all ground level and some of the units have a kitchenette. Its very cheap and no pretentious B&B nonsense that a lot of the lodging in this area has.
I decided to go primitive because I'd rather just stumble home to my cave after many beers than stay stober and ride 12 miles. I figure that in 3 rallys, I've spent a grand total of 7 hours in my room so...

I think fully equipt means you get a terlet. Looking forward to seeing all the usual suspects.

I plan on being there. Time off just got authorized the other day. Don't know if SWMBO's going to have the time to take off but she's planning on comming anyway. Got family in Indy but plan on ruffin it for at least one or two nights. Can't/Won't drink too many then try and ride. Better to sleep where ever, wake and go.
Looks like We have a room at the camp grounds now . and a long trip . First stop rally , next maybe nashville then home

I plan on being there. Having a tough time getting thru to make reservations but I'll get thru eventually. I've been kickin it around wheather or not I should load the XS in the truck but That takes the fun outta the adventure. I'll probably ride. Should be around an 800 or so mile trek. I guess I have to practice what I preach about giving MIYAMI the once over. I still need to find a big fat seat.

Look into the Russell Day-Long seats (www.day-long.com). Pricey, but awesome for the long hauls...many of the Iron Butt vets and other long-distance guys swear by them. I was fortunate enough to stumble on to one when I bought my H, and it's everything it's supposed to be and then some. I need to send mine in for a recover, which considering I lucked into the seat in the first place, I don't have a problem at all spending the $$$ on that.
I hear Mustang seats are pretty good also. Good luck getting Corbin to even acknowledge that XS11's ever existed. I would stay away from Travelcade seats also...I tried their double bucket once and it pushed me way too far forward, and I've heard the same from just about everyone else I've known that's tried one.
Thanks for the info. I'll pull em up and check em out. I don't want to spend a whole lot, but I will spend what is nessesary.
Reservations are now made. 66, I'll be right down the way from you in # 12.
I may just go ahead and throw the bike in the back of the truck being as I'll have to bring bedding and stuff. In a way, this is not all bad. I can bring a box of tools, some extra parts and Bettylu. ( The guitar )
Count on two more attendees. Paula and I will be there, hopefully both riding our XJ1100's. I think I'll just plan on spending the night in a hotel somewhere close... sounds like all the camping spots may be taken.
I forgot to tell you to give Indirick a shout on his web site. This will help him in the planning and providing of festivities.
Nice to have an idea of how many people will be attending
