Food & trip

Burgers and brats are fine with me, I would choose them over chops any day.We will probably be leaving around noon Friday. It is a 2 1/2 drive for us and Mike is not a long distance rider. His back side gets too sore so we will be making a few rest stops. He wants to get his XJ seat redone.

I took the whole day off so I will be here when you get into town. Hope to have everything set up and ready to go by 2. It will be a great weekend!

Ok with the ride only 2 weekends away I need to confirm the head count. I want to be sure there is enough food that nobody goes away hungry. Here is the list so far.

I didn't even think about shirts this time. Maybe the next rallie. I might be able to get you one made up using the last logo and a new year can check into it if you want one. I'll have to do some running tuesday but will be within a block of the printers.

I have enjoyed the lost in IL series of rallies, but looks like I will be home doing father daughter activities that weekend.

We will miss you Brent.... but will carry on the tradition with a salute to you somewhere along the trail. Probably when we are lost.

I can order the shirts but they will not be done by friday. The lady said there is usually a 2 week wait cuz she's always swamped. And they are more expencive due to the fact it was only 3 shirts (I was going to order myself one). Orders of 12 or more gets discounts. Maybe the next rallie I'll take orders.

What time did youse guy break it up?

I rolled into the garage at about 8:45 last night. Ran off right at 400 miles yesterday. Not too shabby for a naked bike.

Zumo said something about Max Speed 94.2. Don't know what that was all about.

Well it was a great weekend! Friday night was Little nasty with the rain. Food was great just like the company. Saturday was a beautiful day for a ride and for the first time in all my rallies I didn't get lost! great breakfast and supper! Cool back roads! Sunday meet the remaining guys for breakfast said good-bye's. My dad finnaly decided to break out his bike so me and him followed bob and arlan north. Think we made 20 miles before he decided it was far enough and turned off. I was back home before noon. All in all a great ride. Looking at Land between the lakes next spring.
