Matt you have a VERYYYYYYYY LONG WEEK. Mike is foaming at the mouth to see the pictures, so he can show his swmbo where and what we done. So come on and get off the couch hit the keyboard. Did you get the picture I sent you on the phone?

Ok I just started to upload the pics to my Photobucket account. Looks like Arlan sent me 86 pictures so it will take a while. Tonight after work if I don't get any interruptions I will have them loaded with a short write up.

Well what to say? I got side tracked last night. Sorry guys! 90% of the photo's have been uploaded to my photobucket. I use the same screen name as here so if your in a real hurry check them out there. Otherwise I should be done tonight if all goes as plan.

Ok here is how the fall 2009 Xs Lost State park hop went.

It all started on friday night with the guys pulling into town around 3ish. I ran out to the hotel to pick up Mike and Tom. To my surprise Bob was there also ready to go. We than took the short trip to my house. Got poured on within the mile and a half ride and I think we ended up hitting every red light.



It was raining so much that my big plans were downsized and we grilled out under the carport in the back yard.





Bob and Tom Keep a watch over my cooking which isn't the best. I ended up burning the Brats cuz the fire was too hot. Food was great and so was the company. Saturday morning started off with breakfast at The Rivers Edge. Here are some pics of the first stop which was Lowell Park. President Ronald Reagan was a lifegaurd in this park on the river.

Next we rode some nice back roads and stopped in Grand Detour and stopped at the John Deere Historical site.





Than we rode to White Pines State park here is a few pics.



Yep and we rode thru the creek!






Just a short note! Arlan is the one that took all the pics so we never get to see his shining face.

Next we left that park and headed to Crazy George's house ( Bone Yard ). Went on one of my favorite roads 9 curves.

After Crazy George's we went thru Bryon pass the nuke station ( which explains why we have 3 eyed catfish in the rock river) to Lowden State park.










It is said that if you were to see out of Cheif Blackhawks eyes you would see all the land he controled.





From there we rode Back to Dixon on some more beautiful backroads.

Arlan and Bob desided to go see Reagan's boyhood home and took these pics.

And Last but Not least I would like to thank Arlan for supplying me all the photos this year. As you could tell he wasn't in any of them but I found this little pic while scanning thru the disk he sent me and I would like to Elect Arlan for President!

Somehow I missed the posting of these until now. Turned out just fine. I will say this was my first attempt at photography while riding one handed but was pleased the way they turned out.
Not sure how that last one got in there but the other one not posted I have to wonder........ what made you think that was my wife?????
At least you didn't find the video of.........oh never mind
