Wow its almost July and I haven't begun the fall ride planning!

Well if your wondering why its because its an easy ride. This time if I get lost well I'm either drunk or following a GPS. Not going to happen!

Ok so the ride is August 21st - 23. Headquarters will be in Dixon Il. Friday night Meet n Greet ( cookout at my place), Sat ride, Sunday breakfast and farewells. Nothing fancy just a good time.

Fall ride

Matt I am going to try and make this ride I thing my boy is going also. Where do we meet at Friday and what time? I need to make motel reservation. How long of ride Sat.?

Tom thats great to hear! Hotels I'll get more info on monday. There is 3 all right next to each other and 2 share a pool. super 8 by itself and comfort and quality are connected. going monday to see if we can get a XS Room rate. friday night is at my house after you check in. If nothing else I can ride out and bring you all in (from the hotels). Super 8 is the cheapest and oldest lots of truckers use it. Supper will be around 6 giving some Long distance riders a chance to get here. (don't worry there will be plenty of food) saturday ride should only be about 200 miles if that haven't routed it on the map to see.

Hotels

There are 3 hotels in beautiful Dixon Il. I just called all 3 and like I said the comfort and quality are the same hotel just one is newer but they are connected. The super 8 is old had been updated but you will need a translator to understand the clerk. I asked Cortney the manager of the comfort/quality the differences in the two.

LOL! Yes we will be riding! Local roads with one stop at the bone yard. Besides that as long as I can get back home we will not be lost without a Map. And If I can get us lost that would truely be amazing ( Not Impossible but improbable!! )

Countdown

So with the ride only 20 days out I want to get a head count and est. time to be expecting you. Friday night will be a cookout at my place. Sat. morning will be breakfast at 9am followed by a fun little ride. Saturday night supper and some cold drinks. Sunday mornin for people sticking around another fun little ride and breakfast. I know those that are staying in the motel need to be checkout before we head out for the ride. Here is the list of people so far.

Motel

Matt me and my boy (Mike) have reservations at Super 8. You do have GOOD riding weather set up don't you, not too hot, not too cold, and NO RAIN. You are having lobster for supper Friday night RIGHT. lol

I wish I could afford steaks and lobster for you guys. If I could there might be more members showing up! LOL! I was thinking pork chops but my wife is saying hamburgers and brats. As far as the weather goes I'v been praying for a great weekend for a long time (now lets see if it works out).
