Hey Cruiser sorry I didn't answer your pm earlier, have just recently got things somewhat under control and can finaly start relaxing. Looks like I have a lot of threads to catch up on. The ride down from Rock Falls sounds good let me know.

Ok guys i just checked the availibality calander again and things are booking quick. Need a lock in head count and what looks to be the best Cabin/ space for our money. I am willing to even bring a air matress for myself to get cost down. Open for any thoughts and idaels.

Ran into a snag!

I was online this weekend and was going to book one cabin to get things going but ran into a small problem. Rim Rock requires you to pay for one night up front to book a cabin. My problem is I don't have 200 laying around to lock in the cabin. I origanialy thought it was like the hotels that just take your info and card # to hold a room. Guess not! So I need any thoughts as to how to proceed.

Hey I called Rim Rock today and was told I could book the cabins but would need to pay for one night after the first of the year. eagle retreat and cougar bluff are close to each other. eagle runs 220 a night with tax and didn't ask about couger bluff but the site says its 100 a night +tax. The lady also said there was a lady that is willing to bring in home cooked meals for a price of course. not sure how much but will check into it when I call back. I am planning on taking the car down to check things out.

Looks like I got 5 riding this ride. Myself, Brent, Bob, Arlan, and Steve. Does this sound about right? In that case Eagle rige would probally be the best. 5 beds for 200 thats 40 a night + tax. Will book it friday! Speak up if I missed you.

Dead line

Hey its been a week or so. Its time to lock down rooms. All interested I need 50 for first night. money gathered will go towards the first night stay which will be devided evenely. any extra will be refunded so you can use it on the second night or whatever else.

thanks Arlan things are underway. Even lined up some help with the route. Local people that knows the road. Just incase maybe Bob will have his GPS with him. You never know I might get us lost again. We should be able to get firewood there! I wanted to try to borrow a trailer to pull behind. Or maybe the wife could drive my explore with a few parts just in case.


Can't wait to get out riding already getting the itch.

Route

I talked to some online friends about the route I planned out. They said I picked some real nice roads and we should see some real hillbillies! Couches on the front porch and all! Can't wait!
