Xssively Lost Spring 2009

Ok that amazing ride is over lets look towards spring 2009. Rallie will start Friday night May 15th with a meet and greet. Ride will pass through the Shawnee National Forest. We will cross a ferry into KY and head to the Land Between the Lakes into TN and curve back up. The route will take us through Garden of the Gods and Sturgis KY. Looks to be about 220 to 250 depending if I get lost. LOL!

Headquarters will be A cabin. Deer run sleeps 8 @ 150 a night. Need a semi-commitment to determin how many cabins would be needed. I have to pay half down upfront to reserve the cabins. Info about the cabins @ Rimrockdogwoodcabins.com. Cabins will fill up fast need to book one for sure asap and if needed will ad if available or we can pile in. would like a first head count by Dec. 7th.

Prices for 8 @ deer run runs about 20 dollars per night. there is smaller cabins next door @ 100 per night that sleeps 4 and 5.

Ok it has been a few months from my last post on this route. Just checking in on what everyone thinks. Would like to lock one cabin in soon.

Well, I kinda want to go, but have to work out the schedule. I'm going to Orlando to see a space shuttle launch also in mid-may, so it depends on the timing.

Ok i know evryone is going to want their own bed so here is the break down.

Deer run- 4 full beds 150
Cougar Bluff - 2 full 100
Bear den - 1 full , 1 twin/twin bunk bed, 1 sofa sleeper 100
Eagle's Retreat - 1 queen, 1 full futon, 2 twin, sofa sleeper 200
Coyote Hollow - full sofa sleeper, full/ twin bunk 130

It will still be 40 to 50 a night better than the 79 to 95 the hotels are asking. Will keep checking prices in the area. I vote for the cabins. deer run and eagle something or other would be the 2 best ones but if a pair want to share one of the smaller cabins that would be fine too. Just keep me posted.

That is a possibility. Mapquest is showing almost a 7 hour ride. I was planning on riding down to springfeild on thursday night and finishing the ride friday morning. but that was just a plan in my head. nothing set in stone.
will be watching for more riders. Hopefully southern IL will chime in.
