'78/'79 Slide Needle Jets 'R Us Part Number

Anybody have the part number for the slide needles for the '78/'79 carbs? They don't make it easy to find. Looks like you have to take several measurements of the taper.

If you want the correct needle jets and needles, Len over at XJbikes has the exact ones for our BS34's. They are aftermarket copies of Mikuni but they work just fine.

I did a bit more research on this and found this old thread. Mikuni marking - XS11.club Forums. According to the post the needle you would be looking for on Jets R Us would be a 5GZ6. Looking at the Jets R Us site they have this Genuine Mikuni needles - Jets R Us and that part number is not listed there under the 5 series. Sorry for my original post as I know you were aware of the original part numbers. Like I posted before there are several available on Ebay when searching for that Yamaha part number and several of them are actually NOS. Deebs may also be on to something about just taking yours if not too worn and just mic them out. There may be something on jets r us that matches. They have a good spec guide to go by. Of course the ones on xjbikes are a good choice, just don't know what the price comparison will be.
