    blinkers-hey lefty

Bike is running great but left turn signals stop blinking at idle with brake on.

Assuming they still blink on the right side? Slow blink or no blink is a sign of dirty connections. Go through all your electrical connections and clean them. Make sure all the grounds are clean and shiny.

Yep, the ground on the left rear is a possible culprit, it is a ring terminal on the turn signal stalk under the fender. It's a pain to get to, need either a 12 or 14MM open end wrench to get it apart. The front not as much as a concern as it has a better connection to the frame.

Are you still running the original flasher under the right side cover, and do you use the self cancelling signals? An electronic flasher will work much more efficiently but you will lose the self cancelling function.

yea works a lot better just cleaning the connectors. Still got original everything.
I did not get to that signal stalk only cleaned under the seat on top of the fender...I'm sure I'll have to do more in the future.

Glad you got it fixed so easily. With 77K miles, she should be just about broken in.
