    Spark Plugs & Wire Caps

My 6k miles bike has new NGK BPR6ES plugs and the caps have resistance of aprox 4k ohms on outer 2 and 8k on inner 2. Is there an alternative to those spark plugs that aren't resistor? I did cut back on the wires for new core connection. Bike runs fine but would like to get non resistor plugs if possible.

    Thanks!

8k is too far out of spec

Champion still makes non resistor plugs but the part number escapes me at the moment

4 of these would take care of the problem. Zero ohms. No resistor.

You can also buy the NGK non resistor caps at most auto parts stores. You may need to order them, but it's only a few days.

The NGK would be better quality.

They will still be good. Will last for many years. I have used those on a few jobs and they work great.

There is a Denso replacement for the NGK BP6ES.

Couldn't agree more. Amazon and Ebay police nothing. Buy at your own risk is their policy. A lot of knock off chinese junk out there and you have to be careful. Fake CHINESE NGK spark plugs sold as “Amazon’s Choice”. Best way to tell if they are authentic…
