carb overflowing

If everything else is correct and the carb is still flooding then I would have to check and change the float height. Meaning I would set that partcular float a bit lower then 23mm just to verify that it quits flooding. Mind you what I am trying to prove by doing that is that the gas can actually be stopped. If it does not accomplish that then you have other problems such as the needle valve not sealing etc. Process of elimination at this point.Last edited by cajun31; 02-18-2023, 02:59 PM.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

the float was warped a little so i just tried to straighten it out, it took three or four times but it finally quit leaking. what i don't understand is why it would work fine blowing air in it but when you put gas in it, it would pour.Comment

petrol (gas) is a very thin fluid and can seep through any small gapsComment
