      If everything else is correct and the carb is still flooding then I would have to check and change the float height. Meaning I would set that partcular float a bit lower then 23mm just to verify that it quits flooding. Mind you what I am trying to prove by doing that is that the gas can actually be stopped. If it does not accomplish that then you have other problems such as the needle valve not sealing etc. Process of elimination at this point.

        I won't to thank everyone for all the help. I finally got it to stop leaking. I left the floats set on 25.7mm I hope that will be ok. when i get the carbs back on we'll see how it runs. thanks

          keeping our fingers crossed that you got it resolved, however enquiring minds will need to know what finally resolved it.

            the float was warped a little so i just tried to straighten it out, it took three or four times but it finally quit leaking. what i don't understand is why it would work fine blowing air in it but when you put gas in it, it would pour.

              petrol (gas) is a very thin fluid and can seep through any small gaps
