  • Stainless Steel Brake Lines

I am just curious what and where you are getting your lines from? I am aware that xj4ever supplies them. Just looking for alternatives. Suggestions?

I bought some from Z1 Enterprises before the buyout. I assembled them myself. Earlier I bought some from a company apparently no longer in business called Bremzen. Their product was garbage and so were they. I’ve also installed the lines from XJ4Ever without complaint.

I just bought some universal lines and ends from Dennis Kirk. The banjo fittings thread into the lines with AN #3 fittings so you can clock them any way you like. Good quality.

On the Special, I had a local shop build them. They are a hydraulic shop, so have all the high pressure as well as DOT approved lines. I did cost about $200 for all lines, front and back.

I changed my bars so I adjusted the length and hard pipe angle on the upper banjo fitting so I went custom. All brake lines replaced on the bike at same time. Galfer USA. was the supplier.

Hey Cajun, I’ve done several bikes by just measuring the old lines and then ordering either Russell brand and Goodridge lines and ends from J&P Cycle. I’ve found they both work well but the Russell seem to be a little more compliant to work with. Definitely some of the best money spent on a bike IMHO.
