    Hey Dick,

At least the special adapter mounting bolt/pipe is still available from Yamaha/Bike Bandit!

    8 90201-25526-00 WASHER, PLATE

    Bike Bandit
    BOLT,UNION 351280-001 $12.55
    8: WASHER,PLATE
    (T2.0) [WASHER,PLATE] 347547-001 $3.03
I've done lots of searches, can't find any listings for coolers for either the XS11, 850, Venture or Vmax, all took the same oil filter in the early years. Good Luck!

      Adaptor plate...

      Hey Topcat,
The bolt you listed is $12.55, but the plate is only $3.03? I would think a machined AL adaptor plate would cost more that the bolt. I have purchased the same oil cooler that was in the picture in this thread, can't remember now who's it was, maybe Maximan and the same temp controller too. All I need now is the plate and adaptor nut/bolt. I'll try Bike Bandit.
      Thanks
      Dick

        Dick,

The plate part in that listing looks more like a washer! I didn't provide the # for the oil cooler adapter plate, cause it wasn't available anymore. Sorry if I caused confusion about those, but I stated that the adaptor wasn't available....should have stated more clearly that that part was a "Washer" type part for the nut/bolt/pipe part!

I've actually got an oil cooler plate that came with the new 81H parts bike I recently got, but couldn't find the nut/bolt/pipe part, and a previous P.O. had just attached several coils of copper tubing to the thing instead of a radiator. So..that's why I didn't offer it to you at first! I won't be using it or fitting it on any of the bikes I'll be working on, so you're welcome to it! P.M. or Email me!
