Howdy XSives,
Was there once a thread on how to attach clear tubing to the float bowls to check actual fuel levels? I need to construct some sort of nipple that I can attach clear tubing to. Has anyone else done this? I was thinking perhaps of getting some replacement drain bolts, drilling a hole in them, and soldering some sort of tube to the bolt....
I am trying to dial in a new set of carbs and want things exact. The carbs are the '79sf models.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Perhaps a vague question here, but with a stock '79sf with 137.5 mains running at 5700ft elevation, what would be a good (leaner) main jet number to start with and does Yamaha still stock them?
Ben
