I see mention of a TC fuse box. Pardon my not knowing, but what is/where does a TC fuse box come from. I see a picture tutorial here on how to do the conversion to ATO's, but all I find on Amazon and Ebay look like garbage. This is the first missing link on my new projects list of steps to running. Thanks in advance!

Complete XS11 Fuse Box
FYI,
Len at XJ Bikes has developed an XS11 Fuse Box. Complete with Color Coded Wiring (cut to length), Instructions, Fuse Box, All the necessary Parts.
Makes ripping out the old fuse box and installing a new Fuse Box & wiring connections EZ with little to no hassle.
The prototype Fuse Box was installed in my Pacifico XS11 E back in June 2016. Kurt did the Install and provided Len with the details of the install.
I've seen the new kit Len is selling. It is very well done. Everything you need in the packet. I am going to order one for my Baltimore 11E since it has some Fuse Box wiring nasty.
I don't have the link to the Fuse Box Replacement Kit but maybe Kurt or Len can post it.
So another option if you want to save some Fuse Box hassle.

Hi Everyone,
I just got a 79' xs11 Special
I have this style fuse box... see photo.
I need help putting all the wires to it as the owner before me pulled out all the wires and did not label anything. I have the wiring diaphragm, but I am confused on which wires go together and what size fuses to use. I have been reading forum posts and confused on which wires go with each other.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Post #5 by JeffH or #6 by kboehringer is your best/easiest solution. Other than than that, match color to color. Put all the loads on the same side. The heavier gauge wires take the higher amp fuses.

Jmitchell,
I have a 79 special with a new fuse block. I'll attempt to take a couple photos for you this evening so you can see the pairs.
As Marty stated, the bigger wires (light brown?) Use the larger fuses.
Since your PO put you in a bind by messing everything up, even a full fuse kit from Len would be a bit more difficult. You will need all the crimp connectors, mounting bolts, several lengths of wire and a few other odds & ends to get this completed properly and reliable.
Photos of mine will likely answer several questions for you.

I seem to remember that the English translated color codes on the electrical schematic in the manual had listed brown and chocolate as wire colors, nothing could go wrong with that...... Hope this helps
