    Thank you everyone for the help by the way!
    I think I have figured it out for the most part, I hope!. I was thinking of putting 9volts to the system instead of the 12v(like a normal battery), so I don't burn/short anything out. Anyone think this a dumb idea or don't waste my time and do the 12 volts? If I crossed the wires wrong and they were hooked up to fuses, nothing catastrophic should happen, right? Just a blown fuse?

      jmitchell, Ha- Right across the river, in Merrimack, I usually cut across @ exit 4 on my commute I93 M-F. I've seen another XS on Mammoth Rd a time or two.

        As long as you have the heavier wire to the higher amp fuse you will be fine. Just let her rip with the 12v.
