Aargh! The headlight fuse clip broke.

It's off to Rat Shack for another Littelfuse fuse block, flag connectors and a ~2K resistor for that annoying battery sensor. I'm using the AGM battery so there is no sensor.

Ah! So that's where all those pesky Rat Shacks crawled off to - The right coast.
They seem to have been exterminated at a fast pace around me?

It's the left-coast unless your antipodean but they are being exterminated at an astounding rate. It's difficult to get parts from them now, they only want to carry batteries, stereos and cellular radios.

Nothing worse than a cross-coasted-antipodean. I think I passed a couple of those that rainy night on the Dragon.

            Hi Mike,
By the sounds of your comments you were going pretty fast that rainy night. Did you catch a glimpse of the Four Horses of the Apocalypse
            See you soon.

Scott stay focused and get that bike back together and have a safe fun ride to IH.

              Hi Phil,

Yes, but I thought I counted 5 horses? I know that means something. I'm a little confused. I've been in south (endless summer) Florida for 2 months and I'm pretty sure there is something in the water here. I have been told (because I am not supposed to look) that there are some of the best looking women here that you have ever seen. Need to find out what that is in the water?

Will be in Stecoah next week. Be safe coming from up north. Will meet you at the IH.

Yeah, about that -- I just tried to put 5 gallons of gas back in the nice, shiny, clean and rust-free gas tank and left the fuel taps open. There's gas all over the floor so I figured now would be a great time to take a break and let the garage air out for a while. Anyway, it's back together and oiled and gassed up, ready to start.

I had a heck of a time troubleshooting. Even after I put in the new fuse block the starter wouldn't turn unless I jumped it from the battery. It eventually turned out to be a bad ignition/interlock relay that would click like it was good and working but not actually do anything.

Blue monkeys, horsemen with alpaca lips, what in blazes is goin' on back there!

                  Hi Mike,
Pretty much endless Summer here in Ontario too. Well until yesterday when Fall arrived a week early with a significant drop in temp, down to comfortable

Used to use gasoline to clean everything until so many people started keeping matches in their pockets all the time. It still does do a good job cleaning concrete - works a lot faster if you light it.

I'm pretty sure there was a full moon (I think it was red) the night those monkeys were flying around.

Uh huh. It'd clean the floor, the walls, the house, everything right down to the garage. If I was very lucky I'd be sleeping under the moon too with the monkeys and the horsemen.

Back from the welder’s and he doesn’t work on Saturday so no center stand this trip.

                                New front brakes

                                New rear brake

Soft bags on and bedroll tied down in time for sunset

But of course there is, "just one more thing!"

                                Dramatic Prairie Dog

The replacement swing arm has the hook for the cable tool and it’s going to gank the right-hand muffler if I don’t fire up the angle grinder and get rid of it!

So it'll be a very early start tomorrow in the wee AM hours to beat the traffic on I-10 East!
