850 Arrived
My new eBay Midnight Special '850 FD just arrived from re_motor_cycle_parts in Oklahoma City, OK.
I'll pull the side cover tomorrow morning to check the gears and bearings but the side cover seal is still supple, the gear oil smells absolutely horrible just the way it should and it's clean and sparkle-free where it leaked out of the two holes in driveshaft input coupler during shipping.
Now my '80G and my XJ both have Midnight '850 drives.
Next week when I get the XJ's side stand and frame repaired I'll have to get another u-joint extension welded up for Columbo, I gleeped his for the XJ.
