    Diaphram leaking.

Can anyone tell me where I can order new one. Got home from a ride to town and smelled gas. When I turn petcocks on fuel comes out backside facing front tire. Thanks in advance.

I was hoping for entire unit. Kinda like plug and play. . With my luck lately with vehicles none are left. Thanks for the link.

TopCat this is the one also to fix the one where the Octopus plugs in. As that's where it was leaking?. I wasn't in my right mind last night when I came home from the ride and it was leaking.

By plug in play do you mean the whole petcock?

I recently converted to an on off without the vacuum. Pricey but in my opion worth it.

            Hi, David -

The kit that TC posted has everything you need to repair 2 leaking petcocks and a leaking Octopus on your Special.

Yes it will fit, 79-82 all the same. The 79 Special is no longer listed on any of the parts fiches, as if it never existed.

Thanks guys. It had a pretty big hole in top. Part expensive but I shouldn't have to replace again. Again Thank You so much.

When you install your new unit, check to see if it is pulsing with the engine vacuum pulses. It can destroy itself prematurely if pulsing, but adding a restrictor in the vacuum line will eliminate this. I have had this problem with the Pingel aftermarket vacuum fuel valve, I think it could also happen with the OEM.
