  • Rebuilding Carbs on a 79'

These things are giving me fits. Twisted off two rails in disassembly, twisted off one main jet and lost another pilot jet ( it got away from me). Dirtiest set I have ever seen. Can someone tell me what the main & pilot size is? Also is there not suppose to be a o-ring and washer on the mixture screws or is it a tapered fit or what? I'll probably have more questions...thanks in advance

Thank you very much, now to find me a couple of jets. I can't even read the 42.5 with a magnifying glass, where is it marked?

Located on the side of pilot jet. Magnifying glass would likely be needed in order to read it.

Had to drill out the last pilot jet. Luckily I found that I had a couple of 42.5's to replace this one and the one I lost. Going to order a 137.5 main.

Anyone happen to know what the tap size for the pilot is? Going to run in through and make sure threads are good. I can figure it out tomorrow if no one knows off hand
