Had to re-read the WORK DONE. The no.1 isn't gonna cut it. Your gonna have to ACTUALLY sync the carbs with a manometer, preferably with one that has mercury in it. That'll likely resolve majority of its running issue.
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Here is a DIY differential synch system. The bottles are Isopure protein drink. I used manifold intake boots from an XJ650 parts bike.

This rig will show absolute zero differential vacuum draw. I believe this is way more accurate than a 4-stick readout. Just my opinion.

I can tell you that after rebuilding an XJ650 carbs, adjusting valve clearances and synchronizing with the above rig, the bike was a rocket ship that I drove for 4 years. It started in 10 degree weather instantly.

An additional item, the bench sync was very far from balanced. One pair was very much unbalanced. Adjustment to balance was easy using the bottles.
