Cool.........thought you abandoned the thread. Ha ha ha.....that tends to piss me off when I take the time to try and help.
Glad you got it solved.
It would be a good idea to go through and clean all the connectors and switches on your 35 year old bike. And check your PO's work. Electrical issues are the biggest problem with them simply because spade connectors suck in any automotive application and they are probably all corroded from age.

Yeah I was outside removing the seat and trying to find the elusive main fuse I am glad That we were able to get her up and running though because I am off work for the next three days and my birthday is this weekend and I didn't want to be trapped inside a box !
I was trying to read the labels on your fuse panel but they don't say what they are. I moved my main there also as well as the auxiliary (the one glass fuse you still have).
I saw the top one said 10A, the main should be 30A.

At any rate, check ALL connectors for corrosion. It'll save you problems down the road.

Yeppers, dats the one......pull the fuse mount panel, unplug and meticulously clean all five plug-ins after which add a tad bit of dielectic grease and plug them back together.
