Friday's Tasks on the XS11

It looks like cylinder four is not hitting right. I started it up and sprayed water on each pipe. Number four just stayed on. I check/drained the carb and it was full of gar. I checked for spark and it had spark. The only other thing I did notice was the carb idle screw would not go in as far as the other carbs when I was cleaning them. I asked Andrea if he has any good ones. Should I just go with a new set? Would this cause it not to get gas or not run on that cylinder? I am not sure if this is the cause.

Just be sure blow out cavity with compressed air before you try and remove the mixture screw. Run the screw back in, blow it out profusely in there to maybe clean out exposed threads and try backing it out again. Got a dremal tool? Using a tiny plunge bit, a steady hand, reach down in the recess and re-cut a slot in the brass, BTDT.
