So the 78-79 Mikuni BS34 carbs are different from the 80-82 Mikuni BS34 carb parts????
I only have half a dozen parts to buy, however it's a pita to id some of these guys.

      Carb parts

Yes Pablo you have the 78/79 carbs and the screws I showed you are idle mixture screws. You must have lost your notes.

Lol, I still have the notes but without part numbers shopping online is tough. I already bought the wrong rear master cylinder. Luckily I was able to cancel the order and get a refund before it was shipped. Today I'm going to Napa and the yamaha dealers to get as many parts on my list. The rest will be bought online.

        My list:

        4 idle mixture screws
4 needle valve assemblies with screens
        2/1 calipher rebuild kits fr/rear
1/1 master cylinder rebuild kit fr/rear
        4 exhaust crushed washers (gasket)
        1/1 tires 100/90/19 130/90/16 bridgestone s11
        Seat

You will be much better off if you buy all of the parts from jetsrus.com and partzilla.com. You will save money and maybe a little gas. You should buy only genuine Mikuni parts for the carbs. If you have caliper pistons that are pitted, replace those with aftermarket stainless steel type.

Get a tire from motorcycle-superstore.com. They have free shipping.

Your Yamaha dealer will have to order everything that you need anyway. NAPA will likely not have any of the parts mentioned.

The receipt doesn't say where it's from, but because of the other parts besides the tires, I'm assuming it's Partzilla?

Wish you had asked around before ordering the tires.
The Dunlop D404 is a decent tire, tread pattern is like their old ELITE II series, but they aren't rated to handle as much weight as the Elite 3, and we've found that they have changed the rubber compounds to make them a little more grippier, but at the expense of durability, so you'll be lucky to get ~6k miles out of the rear. And so for that level of performance, many have gone to getting the Shinko brand....much cheaper in price, and essentially the same mileage /durability, as well as performance/grip. YMMV.

mileage on my last Shinko sucked...it was toast at 4000 miles...cheap? yes...but I dislike changing tires 3 times a year and some folks more than that...I went with a D404 this time around..so far only 1000 miles on it and its fine ofc...my mileage has really cut back this year so I expect to get at least 2 seasons out of this tire...

Top Cat, I was at Motor Sports World on Roydon Drive in Ottawa. I asked for the spitfires s11 and they said they were out and the dunlops were the recommended equivalent to the s11's. Keep in mind the price is Cdn dollars so the total bill is like $484 US for everything.

Still got mufflers, a seat, and calipher pistons to go. JetsRus will send me the float needle valve assemblies. I'm kinda shocked 4 little assemblies will cost $25 to ship to Canada. Yet it's still cheaper than the dealer asked so I'll suck it up and pay that.

                    Tires

Yes the 404 was the worst tire I've ever used. Like riding on skates when the pavement is wet. I took mine off and gave them away right after my first rally. Bridgsone battleaxes are what I have on the LH and SF now and love them. I'm putting Continentals on the E. Pablo see if they will take back the 404's and get the battleaxes inlieu.

                        Rear MC kit

That rear MC kit won't work either if it's from TourMax. I'm ordering some parts for mine. Tell you what, I'll verify the size of the front caliper pistons and pass them to to. You order three sets and I'll pay you back when you come down, we can split the shipping and duty. I'll order the MC rebuild kits that do work and you can pay me back.
P.S- I removed that broken off pilot jet for you and the pin hole repair is good on that diaphram.

                            Caliper pistons

HVCcycle has the stainless steel pistons. What you want to order is "Yamaha F Model Brake caliper piston" 42.8x33.05- six each (I'll take four) and "Yamaha XS Model brake caliper piston"38 x41.25- two each and I'll take one.

                                Hi Blank Slate,
I have found these guys to be competitive for tires.
                                https://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/str...cle-tires.html
They are in Montreal and delivery has been very good.

Always Remember when comparing prices to included the $ exchange and shipping cost. Plus the risk of customs clearance charges at the border which is something you can not control.
