What's the size of the tank holding bolt

I am missing the bolt between the seat and that tank that holds the tank down. Does anybody know the size including the length?

    Thanks in advance!

If you have a Standard, it's the same bolt holding your horn bracket to the frame. It has a 10mm head on it, and if I were to guess, it's probs an M8x12.

The part number says that is correct. 97013-08012-00

        Yes it's a standard.

I did find the part number, but that doesn't help. There are actually a whole list of compatible or revised parts for this bolt, but non of them say what the size is.

        Thanks again

              Hi 3Ddesigns,
You are probably missing the washer that goes on top to spread the load on the rubber grommet.
Louwes or Ace will have the bolt.

You can use a 5/16" "small" fender washer in place of the missing one. It should be about 1 1/4" in diameter. Ace has them in stainless steel, and it makes a nice look when you take the seat off.

Thanks guys. You're right I do need the washer too, and it's a good idea to keep them all stainless.
