i made a washer for my xs...lost original..make sure that the throttle cable isnt getting hung upon the cable end keeper at the carbs...if you changed the bars ,make sure there is a small amount of play in the throttle tube...it shouldnt be instant contact with the cable..

I think I've stumbled upon something great in regards to the impossible idle screw.

Once you get the carbs tuned in and the idle set you don't have to mess with it again so that long apparatus may be more of a nuisance then an aid. Just saying.

I'm having a hard time believing that. I've always had to tweak my carbs living in Chicago where it's 80 one day and 45 the next. Though... I do like to tinker so maybe I'm just messing with something that works.

What size are the bleeders on xs1100E brake calipers? I'm thinking about upgrading to speed bleeders

Thanks, what I should have asked is, are all the brake bleeders 8x125?

Don't bother with Speed bleeders. It's honestly a waste of money, and a good headache using them on dry lines. I bought them, and took them right off during the same bleed.

+1 on the speed bleeders. Invest the money in a Mityvac and a roll of Teflon tape....
