i made a washer for my xs...lost original..make sure that the throttle cable isnt getting hung upon the cable end keeper at the carbs...if you changed the bars ,make sure there is a small amount of play in the throttle tube...it shouldnt be instant contact with the cable..

Once you get the carbs tuned in and the idle set you don't have to mess with it again so that long apparatus may be more of a nuisance then an aid. Just saying.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

Don't bother with Speed bleeders. It's honestly a waste of money, and a good headache using them on dry lines. I bought them, and took them right off during the same bleed.1979 XS1100F
