      Now that's a nice-looking fork brace ...

Pricey ... but it does have the BLING factor ...

But will it fit a Special?

Doubt it. It looks to short for a special.

Nate, I want to make sure I understand ... are you saying the center piece needs to be "arched" instead of flat, similar to the Tkat brace for Specials?

              Tarozzi brace for XS1100 standard.

              Tarozzi brace for XS1100 Special.

If you go back to the Tkat image, you will see the same difference in the two braces. This is due to the fitment of the fender. The standard and Special fenders do not interchange because the Special has a leading axle and the standard does not. This is also why a standard can wear an XS650 fender or hoop style brace.

The same company (Fastec) has some arched ones for the old KZ's ... I wonder if those would work on a Special?

EDIT: Yeah, Marty, I remember the Tarozzi braces from the infamous "fork brace thread" a while back ... what a thread that was ...

                  Marco,
You are borrowing trouble. The only fork brace that will properly fit your Special is the one designed for your bike. The TKAT brace will polish up very nicely, if that is your concern.

I am assuming that we're not looking into hoop style braces.

No, Marty, the issue is not the polished look ... I just really like the "Micron-style" look of the Fastec brace ...

But you're right, I can be sure that either the Tarozzi or the Tkat will fit perfectly on my SF ...

No BS, I have zero ass (it might even be concave), and I've had no complaints about that seat. Longest I've ridden so far is about three hours with maybe a 2-3 minute break.

I get two reactions with that bike, either people love it or they say wow that seat looks really uncomfortable.
