Hi Clyde,
Be sure and look CLOSELY at those gear 'dogs' of the Midnite assembly. Even the slightest rounded ege on those dogs would be worth dis-assembly of gears from shaft and correcting before installation.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

3Phase & motoman -- Many thanks for the input. There's a complete unit on Ebay for $30 plus shipping and I figured I'd clean it up (dremel) and swap it in. Thx. ClydeLast edited by Clyde K.; 05-09-2014, 06:30 PM.Gunnery Sergeant, USMC (Retired), (A gung ho, lifer, Devil Dog) Semper Fidelis

Don't forget to swap the washer from one side of 2nd gear to the other.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!
