The fairing does not make it different, lines run the same either way. However, I think the H had the buckhorn bars or they had their own special bars. Different bars and a different MC are what change the line length and fitting angles..

On a side note to any of you who order from this guy....You should get your lines for free if he is making a pattern from them to sell to others. Also note that the stainless lines are less forgiving (as was previously mentioned) so any copied from original stock rubber lines may not end up perfect. I believe that is why the coastguard lines were making some happy but not others.
Kudo's for finding another supplier is also in order to Ian. Anything done to make parts and supplies more readily available to the XS11 Rider is appreciated.

I put a set of Chacal SS lines on a 1981H. Don't think there was any difference between it and the other Standards.

                Hi Don,
I have heard that the H has different handle bars. Not buck horns.
I do not know if mine has original or not. Hence my hesitation to just order these lines.

I'm trying to figure out what they mean by "clear" with those lines. It sounds like the woven stainless lines are covered by a clear plastic. Black are covered by black plastic, etc. I was leaning towards stainless for a lighter look but in my experience clear plastic always yellows over time. Has anyone received a set yet?

Keep in mind that the Special calipers differ from the standard as well. The bottom banjos may require a different angle. If I were going to order lines for a Special from Techna-Fit, I would send them the original lines and let them match them up.

I know that Ian. You provided the template for the F. The Special fronts will be different.

Sorry Marty, I should have quoted Orange4 "Has anyone received a set yet?".
