Ok, so a wider tire (110) provides better straight line stability? I do my fair amount of lane splitting (low speed) and there is usually a line/groove between lanes from when the blacktop was laid. I have to be very careful when navigating these

I don't know that the 110 front is more stable. That might have more to do with the year tire/wheel. If your only concern is getting through turns, you want the smallest tires that fit. Having the front and rear tire the same size is optimum. This is if your only concern is the turns.

Gotcha, having more patch on the ground for braking much more important
