FWIW, I've never removed the 'peen' from the throttle plate screws when removing them. I've only had one break off, and that one broke without even loosening up. They will turn out a bit hard, but not that hard and I've even reused them with no issues. I do put some locktite on when reinstalling though...Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

I don't know, maybe a little screw bouncing around in the combustion chamber could clean out the carbon build-up. (kidding)Skids (Sid Hansen)

I thought that the guy got carried away with the spray paint but it seems like it is more original than I thought. I thought that my buckhorn handlebars were added but found out that they were standard on some H models. I have learned allot about this bike thanks to the forum.81H Venture - hope to ride summer 2013

Butterfly Seals
Just realized that I soaked the carb units in cleaner and may have compromised the butterfly seals. I am going to swap them out. Can I assume that there are 8 seals per carb? The parts diagram shows only one.81H Venture - hope to ride summer 2013

Butterfly screw blues
I manged to release one butterfly but bogged down on the second. Screw stripped even after filing the underside. I knew it wouldn't be easy.81H Venture - hope to ride summer 2013
