10-15 lbs on the gauge I installed today. Dont have the bawls or road space to hold it open, I think the 15 may have been boost creep. 3rd gear power wheelie (like 2 inches up) doing 100 (KPH). 2nd gear shot again. Soaked all the frictions in gas yesterday, spun em on a flat surface with 220 grit, and ran the steels over the belt sander. Held yesterday, not holding today
Picked up a parts bike and a spare clutch. Might see about machining a centrifugal lockup device... Need steering damper! (waiting on fork bracket) Would also like to throw it on a scale now that everything is about where it will be (race weight)

I used to use 15/40 Rotella oil and had some problems with that. Have you tried changing the oil you use? I've abused the heck out of these motors on regular ol' Castrol 20/50 and the barnett springs.
And yeah, if you haven't moved that washer on 2nd gear, it won't hold that kind of HP for long.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

I recently watched a Barnett kit on ebay sell that had an additional friction plate for the XS11... Looks like even Barnett knew these clutches could benefit from more plates... I think your waisting you time with everything until you go with another plate. If you can make a custom locking device...'79 XS11 F
