I ended up buying mine at BikeBandit.com I think MikesXS has them a little cheaper but not by much. It's real hard to find a screw that you can modify to fit. They are a real bugger to get sealed up cause they are such a precision fit.

Another mm or so in length won't hurt you, I wouldn't go under that. The head is a JIS must.
Most well stocked Ace Hardware stores will have metric screws. Take the bowl with you to see if the head fits.
Crazy Steve was selling stainless steel Allen heads for the carbs, and he might still have some. A PM would answer that question.

OK i gotcha but kind of hard to get actual screws so i went with screws from carzy steve.1980 XS1100 SG
