Did Metzeler sponser the paint scheme? I do like the looks. I was wondering about the adequacy of the front fender. Have you ever had a fender like that on wet roads?

That pipe looks low to the ground. Its always hard to tell from pictures but I expected the crossover to be back towards the rear tire more and the mufflers to exit behind the foot pegs. Please record a drive by!

I'll try to get more pic's and a video up.The x pipe is great. Never has it rubbed on the ground,if I lean as far over as the pegs then it would hit.Very light and was surprized at no rear mount. It's very light.Coated the inside with creme and has not blued.I'm actually very happy with it.Chrome could have been better, but I love the look and sound and just seems to fit with this bike.Nothing else out there like it.Would I buy another one ? YES. The pipe on this bike is the x-pipe mx3 not just the x-pipe.Hope all of ya like it, I sure do.

Is there a mid mount above the "X", or does it all just hang from the flanges?

                              Looking good Terry

If the exhaust is only fixed at the headers the risk of them breaking at the flanges from vibration is very high, I think if it were my bike I'd be fitting an extra bracket underneath, maybe the centrestand mounts might be a convenient place. JAT
